Our union creates a new kind of seminary for the 21st century—one that preserves the core values and programs of SFTS while offering new academic excellence to a broader audience for a hopeful, loving engagement with the world. 2021 marks our 150th anniversary of forming, reforming and transforming lives through spirit and service! At SFTS we believe that religion—and specifically Christian faith—should inspire each of us to be a positive force for good in the world.
